Love for nature is highly valued by the Paolucci family. The whole family, from parents to children, uncle and even a cousin are involved in making wine.
The current 3rd generation makes their own wine, but the previous generations supplied their grapes to the cooperative. Nicoline and his husband Serena make wines from the autochthonous grape varieties Trebbiano, Montepulciano and Pecorino in an ultramodern way. The latter was thought to have disappeared around 1900. But this is now the white variety with which the region is causing a furore. The Venea vineyards extend over 10 hectares in the area of Fossacesia near Chieti in Abruzzo.
