Velenosi was founded in 1984 by two very young entrepreneurs, Angela and Ercole Velenosi. They have combined traditional and modern techniques, which leads to their own creative interpretation of winemaking!
Because of these insights, the company is constantly growing and constantly adapting itself, making unique wines that show the best of the Piceno region. The heart of the company is located in the historic town of Ascoli Piceno, located in the Marche region and at a distance of about 20 km from the Adriatic Sea and at an altitude of about 150 meters above sea level. The company's vineyard plots extend between the hills that surround the beautiful valley of the Tronto River, which has always been suitable for growing grapes thanks to its clayey and fertile soil. In addition to the four vineyard plots located in Ascoli Piceno, Castorano, Monsampolo and Castel di Lama, there is one vineyard in the area of Ancarano and in the area of San Marcello (AN).
