Founded in 1932, La Bodega de Pinoso is an increasingly biologically operating bodega in the warm D.O. Alicante, near Valencia. Under the inspiring leadership of Ana Amat, a talented young team is working on the wines.
They combine modern and traditional techniques, work with low sulphite levels and use indigenous yeasts and preferably autochthonous grape varieties such as Monastrell and Airèn. The subsoil and the microclimate around the winery are ideal for growing these grape varieties. They give the wines of La Bodega de Pinoso that little bit extra. An 'alma de vida', Mediterranean soul as the Spaniards describe it.
