The bodega selects its grapes from vineyards around the villages: Fuentemolinos, Quintanilla de Onésimo, Anguix and Moradillo de Roa, where the best grapes (cabernet sauvignon, tinta de pais and tinta fina) come from. In the process of to make a great wine nothing left to chance. From small 15 kilo crates for picking to a strict grape selection where only the very best grapes are used. All wines are aged in French oak in varying periods of old and new barrels. For example, Crianza matures partly in new and partly in year-old barrels and the Reserva with the largest share of new wooden barrels. The result is impressive, Clea's wines regularly win international prizes, including Mondus Vini and Decanter.
