Château Mignan is located on the high terraces of the Minervois La Livinière in a small and typical southern French village called Siran, in the heart of Languedoc. These exceptional Languedoc wines reflect the terroir made up of calcareous clay and give the wine an incomparable quality. La Livinière is considered the best sub-region in Minervois.
Christian & Carole Mignan and their three children have been passionately managing this castle in the Languedoc for years. Château Mignan consists of 12 hectares of vineyard with 7 hectares in Minervois La Livinière and 5 hectares in Minervois. As mentioned, the wines produced here are a reflection of the terroir of the vines. Only great grape varieties are used: Syrah, Grenache and Carignan for the red wines and for the white wines Marsanne, Roussanne, Grenache Blanc and Rolle are used.
