The Special Cask is composed of a spicy malt whiskey matured in Amontillado sherry barrels with a younger, more peated, more iodized version, which gives powerful and fresh flavors. Complexity and balance are achieved thanks to a third single malt, very fine and subtle. Spicy and warm flavors of Oxydative Sherry are enhanced by peated and iodized fresh malts. Sherry, leather, tabaco and dried flowers are characteristic flavors. Silky texture, beautiful length and proof makes it very complex.
